Some products cannot be manufactured using standard processes such as injection molding, thermoforming, or vacuum forming. When design geometry, material behavior, or performance requirements exceed the limits of conventional methods, custom manufacturing solutions are required.
Mankowski Industrial designs and builds purpose-built forming systems for these cases. In one such project, we developed two novel forming methods to produce a highly constrained film-based component that could not be manufactured using existing processes. These systems met strict performance requirements while remaining cost-effective and scalable for production.
Our special-machine work focuses on process creation, not process adaptation — translating difficult product designs into repeatable, manufacturable reality when off-the-shelf equipment is insufficient.
